Catascolite (Impact Stone)

Cataclosite is a variety of Cataclasite, which is a cataclastic rock (metamorphic rock) which has been formed when existing rock is fractured as a result of faulting by plate tectonic movement or earthquakes or other high powered forces. It is also referred to as being a form of Impact Quartz. This particular form is a combination crystal from the meteor impact site at Roter Kamm in the Nambi desert, Namibia. It is characterized by its brecciated appearance which is the result of the high powered forces at work which have caused the original rocks and minerals to break apart and then reform in this manner.

Cataclosite connects to all the physical chakras, opening the chakric column so that energy can flow freely.

Cataclosite or Impact Quartz is the result of high powered forces that have transformed the original mineral compositions and thus retains the energy of transformation. This energy can aid and support one in transforming one’s own energy so that one is able to change the way one views one’s life and move forward.
